Yale keySantander has extended its Loyal Mover range for existing Santander mortgage customers who are looking to move home.

The lender is launching a new three year fix at 85 per cent LTV exclusively for Loyal Movers, at 4.09 per cent with no fee. Santander is also offering £500 off fees on its other Loyal Mover products.

In addition it has also launched two new two year fix deals exclusively for current account customers:

  • New two year fix at 70 per cent LTV, available to all homebuyers and remortgagors, at 2.65 per cent with £745 fee
  • New two year fix at 75 per cent LTV, available to all homebuyers and remortgagors, at 2.79 per cent with £745 fee

Both the above products come with either the Homebuyer or Remortgage Solution respectively. The Homebuyer Solution offers borrowers a free standard mortgage valuation and £250 cashback on completion, while the Remortgage Solution offers a free standard mortgage valuation, and either free legals or £250 cashback on completion.

Phil Cliff, Director of Santander Mortgages, said: “As the ‘Home of UK Mortgages’, we are always looking at ways we can help our existing mortgage customers. Moving home can often be an expensive time so we have introduced a new three year fix exclusively for Loyal Movers with no fee plus £500 off on our other Loyal Mover products to thank customers for staying with us when they move home. And for those Santander customers with an existing current account, our new two year fix products offer a competitive rate and fee, underpinning our continued strategy of supporting the UK housing market.”

Shame Santander weren’t thinking about keeping existing customers a month ago! We are on a fixed rate mortgage, paying over double the interest rate. We were luck enough to find ourselves wtih some money to pay off our mortgage but have been hit by their charges. We weren’t even asking to go onto a cheaper interest rate and they were very uncompromising!
