Santander has launched two- and five-year fixed rate mortgages with no booking fees for clients wishing to purchase or remortgage.
The new offers include a two-year product with a fixed rate of 2.29 per cent at up to 80 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) and a five-year mortgage at a fixed rate of 3.29 per cent for loans at the same LTV.
Santander has also included several offers with zero booking fees for its existing customers under the Loyalty mortgages scheme.
Highlights here include:
- 1.99 per cent two-year tracker rate at up to 80 per cent LTV
- 2.19 per cent two-year fixed rate at up to 80 per cent LTV
- 2.69 per cent two-year fixed rate at up to 85 per cent LTV
- 3.19 per cent five-year fixed rate at up to 80 per cent LTV
All offers are available to existing customers seeking a purchase or remortgage.
Santander’s Loyalty mortgage range includes offers for a free standard valuation and £250 cashback for purchase customers or a free standard valuation and free legals for remortgage customers.
Commenting on the new launch Miguel Sard, head of mortgages at Santander, said:
“We know that saving for a deposit can be a long process and one of the biggest investments of a person’s life; we always look at how we can best support customers and pass on as much value as possible.
“With this in mind, we have launched a range of zero booking fee products on selected high LTV products for purchase and remortgage and in addition we offer additional rate savings on our Loyalty range.”
