A flat inside Arsenal’s former Highbury stadium has come on sale for £660,000.
The two-bed property, located in the iconic Grade II listed building, has been listed on property website Zoopla.
While the two bedrooms feature the original red framed windows, the real attraction are the communal gardens, which were originally the football pitch for the residents.
Highbury was Arsenal’s “Home of Football” from 1973 to 2006, when the club moved to the new Emirates Stadium. After the club left, residential properties were built on the Highbury grounds.
I think Arsenal were playing there before 1973!
