One customer at Leek United Building Society is set to win £6,930 – calculated based on 12 months’ average UK mortgage payments.
John Kelly, operations director at Leek United, said: “The winner could choose to pay off some of their mortgage, book the holiday of a lifetime, change their car – or even invest the money for a rainy day.
“However, they decide to use the money, we look forward to giving someone a little bit of financial freedom.”
All customers opening a new savings account with the society by 30 September 2019 will be automatically entered into the draw. The winner will be chosen at random on 9 October 2019.
To enter, existing or new customers will need to open a new Leek United Building Society savings account by visiting one of Leek United’s branch or agency offices in person.
Leek United is the 15th largest building society in the UK and operates 12 branches across Cheshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire, and two agencies in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
