What Mortgage Awards 2022: The winners have been revealed
The What Mortgage Team is delighted to reveal the winners of the 2022 What Mortgage Awards.
We asked our readers which businesses they believed were worthy of a What Mortgage Award, which celebrate and recognise the best mortgage brokers, lenders and home buying support services in the UK. And our readers responded.
This year we did things a bit differently. As always we asked for the public’s nominations, whittled these down to a shortlist and then asked for your votes.
But, in recognition of the huge part the public plays in our awards process, we unveiled the winners in digital event which ran over two days on our website.
It meant the entire What Mortgage community – the winners, the nominees and the customers who voted – could join the celebrations and find out which providers had been crowned the best in the business by the discerning public.
For 2022 we divided the awards into four sections:
- Home buying services – including insurers, conveyancers and surveyors
- Specialist Lenders and Equity Release
- Mortgage Brokers/Intermediaries/Advisers
- Mortgage Lenders
We announced the winners for each section in four separate videos which were broadcast over two days on the website.
The idea was to get as many of you involved as possible – whatever your location.
Of course, there could only be one winner in each category, but we also wanted to celebrate the businesses which were nominated when we opened up the awards for the public to have their say back in January.
So, in another change for 2022, you’ll also see those businesses which were nominated in the first part of the process. If your company’s name is in the list at the end of each video – well done!
