The What Mortgage Team is delighted to reveal the winners of the 2023 What Mortgage Awards.
Now in their 30th year, the awards celebrate the achievements of the best banks, building societies, lenders, brokers and home buying services as voted for by our readers.
Winning a What Mortgage Award is quite an accolade because the public plays such a crucial role in the selection process.
Every single provider which has been nominated, highly commended or crowned a winner has been awarded because they received the seal of approval from satisfied customers.

How to win an award
So, how do you pick up a What Mortgage Award? The whole process runs over 22 weeks. In the first part – the nomination stage – readers were invited to put forward the names of firms they had good dealings with and would recommend to friends and family.
A shortlist was then compiled for part two and we asked the general public to vote for the names
on the shortlist.
Finally, we announced all the winners in a digital celebration, broadcast on our website. We invited the whole What Mortgage community – the readers and the business – to join us for the big reveal.
We would like to congratulate all the winners and highly commended and we’d also like to offer our gratitude to each and every person who made a nomination or cast a vote in this year’s awards.
