Buying your first home
In another demonstration of our care for customers, Newcastle Building Society continues to recognise that the process of purchasing a first home can be daunting and complicated.
That is why we have introduced a team of friendly First Time Buyer Coaches, who will help guide you on your journey to home ownership. The Coaches will support you through the whole process, from working out how much deposit you need to save, all the way through to completing on your first home. Assisted by our team of qualified Mortgage Advisers, our Coaches will answer any questions you may have and be with you every step of the way throughout your journey.
Amid the cost-of-living crisis, we have redoubled our efforts to help first-time buyers through the financial squeeze with Shared Ownership and First Homes mortgage products. Last year we recorded an 8.5% increase in new mortgage customers as we helped thousands of first-time buyers realise their dream of owning their own home.

For the brokers: we’re committed to making your life easier through our investment in technology. We provide innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and invest in the latest tools and resources for a convenient experience. Our newly launched digital mortgage application will enable you to easily update DIP and full mortgage applications – so you can spend more time with your clients, and less time on admin. Featuring an enhanced criteria search tool, our refreshed intermediaries website makes it easier for you to find the answers you’re looking for.
