The nomination stage for our popular annual awards is now open. This is the bit where we ask you – the homeowning and homebuying public – to supply us with the names of the mortgage brokers, lenders and other businesses which have stood out for you during the process of buying or remortgaging your home.
Whether you are a first-time buyer who is climbing onto the first rung of the ladder, a home mover who is moving up the ladder, a landlord or a borrower looking for a remortgage – if you had a good experience with one of the professionals involved, we want to hear about it.
In fact, what makes the what MORTGAGE Awards stand out is the nominations and votes come exclusively from our readers – people who are going through the mortgage process right now or have recently taken out a deal.
What better recommendation for future mortgage borrowers, homebuyers and movers?
This year’s nomination process opens today (Tuesday 12 November) and runs until February. We want you to let us know who you would recommend to friends and family.
Maybe it’s a super-helpful building society, a bank with a great mortgage option for first-time buyers or a broker who worked their magic and found you a cracking deal.
But we also celebrate the achievements of other firms in the homebuying process – conveyancers, removal firms, surveyors and insurers to name a few.

In February 2025, we will whittle down the nominees into a shortlist which will be submitted for public vote in March. The winners will be announced in June at a presentation lunch at the Kia Oval in London.
