A former Liverpool FC star – the fourth highest goalscorer in Premier League history – has announced that since establishing a £28 million buy-to-let portfolio, he has set up a property academy to advise those looking to invest in the market.
The Mirror reported that former striker Robbie Fowler, 37, will teach people wanting to learn about property investment in a series of workshops located in London.
Fowler’s property school will run throughout March giving specialist advice intended to equip attendants with the skills they need in order to make the most of their property ventures.
Since making millions from his property purchases, comprising mostly of terraced houses in the North West as opposed to those in high-end prime locations, the Daily Mail reported that Fowler said: “Investing in property can give you the chance to earn money in your sleep.”
Fowler currently rents out the dozens of properties in his portfolio to tenants since purchasing swathes of homes – it is estimated he owns around 80 properties.
The Mirror further reported that he said: “Off the pitch one of my biggest successes has come from investing in property.
“If you train with trusted experts, your ‘sleeping’ or passive income can be as big or small as you want – whether you want a bit of extra cash or a completely new career.

He continued: “When I first started I didn’t know much about the property world but I had some good advice from people who did. It doesn’t matter what state the market’s in, there is always money to be made as long as you get the right education.”
