This dream could be a reality for one lucky first-time buyer courtesy of GoodMove, which has launched a competition today and is offering £10,000 to put toward a house deposit as the prize.
The property buying firm is this afternoon (19 January) launching a pair of keys from space. The keys are due to land somewhere in the UK and the first person to find them and call the number on the keys will win the prize.

Nima Ghasri, Director at GoodMove said: “We know that the property market is especially volatile right now, and many Brits struggle to get their foot on the property ladder and buy their dream home.
“We really wanted to help anyone in this situation in this campaign in a fun and exciting way – so if you can find our keys after they’ve landed from space then we’ll supply £10,000 towards a deposit.
“We really hope this money can brighten up someone’s January and can’t wait to see our keys’ journey into space!”
GoodMove said, in the UK, over half (55%) of all homes were owned by people aged 55+, and young people often found themselves struggling to get on the property ladder.
Its research found almost half (47%) found it impossible to save for a deposit on their own and the majority (27%) took between five and 10 years to save up.
This money aims to help the many people in this situation finally buy their own piece of paradise.
