Those who have previously owned a home but no longer have a mortgage may be able to avail of the FirstBuy scheme with Barratt Homes at their developments in Coventry and Nuneaton.
Buyers in the scheme could be eligible for a loan of up to 20 per cent of the price of the property, jointly funded by David Wilson Mercia and the government’s Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The buyers must then find the remaining 80 per cent of the price themselves.
Steve Barton, Sales Manager for Barratt Mercia, comments: “FirstBuy is a government-backed scheme that has been launched to help first time buyers. It aims to provide financial assistance to buyers in a range of circumstances, whether you’re having difficulty finding a deposit or are simply looking for lower monthly mortgage repayments.
“A lot of people will be eligible to take advantage of FirstBuy.
“Any household with a combined income of up to £60,000 is eligible – so I would urge anyone interested to contact us as soon as possible because we have limited availability.” |
