Halifax has launched a £750 cashback offer for first-time buyers, home movers and mortgage switchers.
This new offer will also give eligible borrowers the added support of a dedicated mortgage adviser, while remortgagers have access to Halifax’s switcher service.
The lender will also cover basic legal fees and standard property valuation costs for remortgagers.
Chris Gowland, mortgages director at Halifax, said: “Buying your first property or moving can be overwhelming as additional costs involved in that initial moving period to turn it your house into a home’can sometimes catch us off guard.
“Giving our customers a bit of extra cash to go towards those essentials can help alleviate some of the moving stress and help make it easier to celebrate this new milestone.”
