Newbury Building Society is to host four free events for local first-time buyers who would like to get their feet on the property ladder.
The events aim to help prospective buyers learn about the buying process and are to be held between 4pm and 8pm at:
- Newbury College – 30 April
- Didcot’s Civic Hall – 12 May
- Basingstoke’s Apollo Hotel – 15 May
- Andover’s The Lights – 20 May
Qualified mortgage advisors from the society will be on hand to offer advice, along with staff from local housing associations, estate agents and solicitors.
Office manager of the society’s Newbury branch, Jane Bosher, said: “The event is invaluable to first-time buyers, providing them with the information they need to take the first step on the property ladder.
“It explains what help is available all in one place, and I’m pleased to say that the society has managed to help many people with the purchase of their first property and we look forward to helping many more.”
