Lloyds Bank has from today, 7 September, launched a new offer for customers using its econveyancing service to purchase a property.
The lender will cover the basic legal costs for homebuyers using the service which is expected to reduce the time it takes customers to source a legal representative to carry out the conveyancing work needed.
Using Lloyds Bank’s econveyancing service enables customers to choose from a panel of conveyancers that are recommended based on price, distance or rating. The service also shows the conveyancing costs from the outset, to further help customers when they’re planning their budget for their house purchase.
“Through our mortgage offers, we’re always looking at ways of delighting our customers and giving them more for their money. This latest offer will help to ease the financial burden on them whilst helping to make the home buying process as stress free as possible,” Andy Mason, Mortgages Director at Lloyds Bank, said.
Lloyds Bank currently has the following offers for first-time buyers and home movers:
- For home movers – two-year fixed at 0-60 per cent loan-to-value (LTV), 1.84 per cent with £995 fee for existing customers, and 2.04 per cent otherwise.
- For first-time buyers – two-year fixed at 0-60 per cent LTV, 1.84 per cent with £995 fee for existing customers, and 2.04 per cent otherwise.
