Newcastle Intermediaries has launched a two-year fixed rate mortgage at 3.59% (APR 5.7%) with a maximum loan to value of 95%.
Aimed at first-time borrowers looking for a short-term fixed rate, it comes with no completion fee and no early repayment charges.
Steve Carruthers, head of mortgage distribution at Newcastle Intermediaries, said: “There is an appetite for shorter-term borrowing especially as people are unsure as to when the Bank of England base rate will rise. In addition, the no early repayment charges element gives the borrower added flexibility too.”
