Online letting agents are gaining popularity with UK landlords, according to a survey by Upad.
The online letting agent asked its users what they thought of online agents, compared to traditional and 96 per cent preferred the newer way of thinking.
It also found that around 92 per cent of property searches begin online, while the company boasts that it has already let 4,000 properties in the last 12 months using its online-only model.
Chief executive James Davis said: “Our focus is on making the lettings process as quick and painless for both landlords and tenants as it should be.
“We believe a successful tenancy requires landlords to know their tenants personally and our innovative business model which is based on bringing these people together whilst dealing with everything else professionally at a fair price is something that our landlords are clearly satisfied with.”
