Nine out of ten adults say that they are ‘very conscious’ of the need t save for their retirement, yet nearly half have no pension plan to speak of.
Instead people are investing in bricks and mortar in the hope that it will see them through. A staggering 89 per cent of Brits spend more in home improvements at an average £1,768 each year, than they contribute to their pension – only £18 per week or £932.

In addition to this, six out of ten Brits would trust their tradesmanÂ’s opinion over that of a qualified Financial Adviser when it comes to getting the maximum return on their investment.
