Borrowers moving home or looking to re-mortgage can apply for the best buy deal at 4.99 per cent with a fee of £995.
For those who would like a little extra help with their mortgage, a similar product will also be available at 5.09 per cent offering free legal and valuation costs for those re-mortgaging or a free valuation and £250 cashback for those moving home.
The new products, which are 0.3 per cent cheaper than the next best 10-year deal, are available at any of the Yorkshire's 135 branches or through the Society's fully interactive website – www.ybs.co.uk – using its award winning online paperless application process.

"This is the first time in a year that a ten-year fixed rate mortgage has been under five per cent and although ten years may seem to some like a long time to fix, the new deals are fully portable offering flexibility for those who may wish to move home before the end of the term.
