Having confidence in your Broker.
I am currently in the process of remortgaging my property, the broker has provided me a good offer from Birmingham Midshires with the acception of the fees, the Valuation was £480 and the Application fee £2600 or 2.5%.
When I quieried this the broker said he made an error on the Valuation and it should be £380, the Application fee is because the rate I am getting is a special offer and that he cannot provide a full mortgage illistration from BM due being confidentual between the Broking company and BM.
When I check the BM website the average fee is £1999 if not less.
Does leave me puzzled.
