Miller Homes West Midlands is inviting buyers in the region to spring into a new property with Help to Buy.
The housebuilder is offering a range of incentives, including the new government scheme, to make the buying process as easy as possible for home movers and first time buyers.
The spring season sees house-hunters stepping up the search for their perfect property and Miller Homes West Midlands is running special sessions so they can find out more about the Help to Buy scheme.
Paul Walters, associate director for Miller Homes West Midlands said: “We have already seen an upsurge in enquiries since we started offering Help to Buy to our customers as it gives extra help to those who only have a small deposit.
“Many buyers are still a little bit unsure about how it works and if it applies to them, so we hope by offering Help to Buy evenings and weekends, we can give clear and simple advice to help them make their next move.”
Help to Buy offers assistance for buyers who only have a small deposit of around 5 per cent through the provision of a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society.
This is an extension of the existing FirstBuy scheme and applies to new build properties up to the value of £600,000 in England.
