Yorkshire Building Society is the first to offer customers financial advice at home via video conferencing.
The lender is rolling out a new service, the first from a major building society, that will enable customers to consult an expert about investments from the comfort of their own home. It also enables advisers to share documents, via any tablet, laptop or desk-top computer.
Financial advisers will be available between 9 am and 7 pm Monday to Friday.
